LoRaWAN infrared wireless meter reading module

The data reporting method of HAC-MLW3 has two options: touch button reporting or magnet trigger reporting, and supports infrared parameter setting and upgrade.

● Power management function, detect the transmission status or control valve voltage and report it.

● Magnetic attack detection function, which generates alarm signs when detecting malicious magnetic attacks.

● Support power-off storage function. After the module is powered off, it does not need to re-initialize the metering value.

● Support valve control, the valve can be controlled by sending commands from the cloud platform.

● Support frozen data reading, the cloud platform can send commands to read monthly frozen data and annual frozen data.

● Support dredging valve function, which is configured by the host computer.

● Support power-off closing valve.

● Support near-end infrared parameter setting.

5) Use the magnetic trigger meter terminal to manually report data or press the button to trigger the report data, and the meter terminal will automatically report data regularly.

System composition

The system includes: wireless meter reading acquisition module HAC-MLW3, LoRaWAN gateway, LoRaWAN meter reading charging system (cloud platform). HAC-MLW wireless remote meter reading system (hereinafter referred to as HAC-MLW system) integrates acquisition and measurement, two-way communication and meter reading control valve, and conforms to the LORAWAN1.0.2 standard protocol formulated by the LoRa Alliance.

● HAC-MLW3 meter-end module and gateway form a star network, which is convenient for network maintenance and high reliability. There is no binding relationship between the table-side module and the gateway, which realizes the sharing of gateway resources and has strong scalability. Better than the common star network with a single central node. Real-time information exchange with the server using reliable and long-connected WIFI, 4G, NET.

● The meter-end module adopts the method of synchronous time stamping to avoid collision during data transmission, improve transmission efficiency, realize precise downlink control, and further reduce system power consumption.

● HAC-MLW networking system is convenient, concise and flexible. The gateway can be shared, and the network has no boundaries, which is convenient for maintenance, adjustment and expansion.

System Features

1) Ultra long distance communication

● LoRa modulation mode, long communication distance.

● Visual communication distance between gateway and watch: 1km-5km in urban environment, 5-15km in rural environment.

● The communication rate between the gateway and the meter is adaptive, realizing the longest distance communication at a low rate.

2) Ultra-low power consumption, long service life

● The average power consumption of the meter module is less than or equal to 20uA.

● The meter module reports data every 24 hours; the meter end is equipped with an ER18505 battery of equal capacity, with a service life of 10 years.

3) Anti-interference, high reliability

● Multi-frequency multi-rate automatic switching to avoid co-channel interference and improve transmission reliability.

● Adopt the patented technology of TDMA time division multiple access communication to automatically synchronize the communication time unit to avoid data collision.

● OTAA air activation is adopted, and the encryption key is automatically generated when entering the network.

● The data is encrypted with multiple keys for high security.

4) Large management capacity

● The LoRaWAN gateway can support the management of up to 10,000 tables.

● It can save 10-year annual freeze and monthly freeze data for the last 128 months. The cloud platform can query historical data.

● Adopt the adaptive algorithm of transmission rate and transmission distance to effectively improve the system capacity.

● Easy system expansion: compatible with water, gas and heat meters, easy to increase or decrease; gateway resources can be shared.

● Compliant with the LORAWAN1.0.2 protocol, the expansion is simple, and the capacity can be increased by adding a gateway.
